ROOM RESERVATION POLICIES
Only organizations within the University of Pennsylvania are permitted to reserve space within Wharton. Academic scheduling, to include finals, mid-terms and reading days receive priority scheduling, as well as traditional University events such as, New Student Orientations, Family Weekend, Homecoming, Alumni Weekend and Commencement exercises. Advance notice of University special events are posted in the Customer Support Center, as well as on the website and throughout the university.
All
Wharton Students must request classrooms through
SPIKE at
least 72 business hours in advance.

at the top of the page, followed by "New Wharton
Event.")
Faculty and Staff can either fax a Room
Request Form to 215.573.8532, or walk the form
to JMHH F 30. All others must submit the form (in
person/directly) to the Customer Support Center.
ROOM TYPES
Note: Most classrooms and space incorporate advanced technology and communications technology that include teleconferencing, videoconferencing, Internet, and computer projection capabilities.
Seminar Rooms – Seats
approximately 16 people around a conference
style table.
Classrooms – Seats
from 25 to 80 people and are either tiered or flat
in design. Be sure to indicate on the Request Form
the number of guests to receive a room appropriate
for the size of the event.
Lecture Halls & The
DHIRUBHAI Ambani Auditorium
(G06) -
seats from 125 to 299 people, respectively.
Patty and Jay Baker Forum -
open area located in the lower level of Huntsman Hall.
The forum is open to all students, faculty and staff
to reserve, and is large enough to accommodate an
entire undergraduate class. The forum is the perfect
setting to host family weekend events, graduation
celebrations, award ceremonies and similar events.
The Colloquium -
located on the 8th floor of Huntsman Hall has a dining
capacity to seat up to 200 guests. While this area
will not be reserved for Student Organizations, it
is open for faculty, staff and alumni to host special
events.
