A winter storm warning has been issued ahead of the approaching winter storm (Thursday 4 a.m. – 4 p.m.). In preparation please take a few minutes to review how to stay connected to the most up-to-date campus information:
- If not already a member – register for Penn Alert Notifications at http://www.publicsafety.upenn.edu/pennready/upennalert/ to receive University announcements via text messages, voicemail and email.
- Check the University of Pennsylvania MELT LINE by dialing 215-898- MELT (6358)
- Log onto the University of Pennsylvania Website www.upenn.edu
If at any time during the storm the University suspends normal operations all Wharton buildings will close down (Colonial Penn Center, Lauder-Fischer Hall, Jon M. Huntsman Hall, Steinberg Hall – Dietrich Hall, Dinan Hall). Essential personnel will be required to report to/stay on campus but all classes, events and all other activities planned in our buildings will be postponed/cancelled. Faculty, staff and PhD’s will still have access to their office building via card readers at the main entrances. However, access routes including emergency exits may not be accessible.
Wharton Operations will have staff on site for the duration of the storm and will send updates as needed.
